Access is part of qualification quality

Life Sciences AI Academy aims to make its public content, curriculum and assessments usable by people with disabilities. The current target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA; this is a commitment and design target, not a claim that every page has been independently certified.

Structure

Semantic headings, labelled controls, descriptive links and keyboard-operable navigation are used throughout the primary experience.

Presentation

Text contrast, responsive layouts, visible focus and reduced reliance on color alone support varied devices and vision needs.

Alternatives

Reasonable alternate formats and assessment accommodations are available without lowering the competency being assessed.

Known limits

Where more work may be required

Third-party articles, regulator documents, standards pages and browser print or download dialogs are controlled by their publishers and may not meet the same target. Complex regulatory documents and some downloadable materials may require an alternate format. Interactive assessment behavior can also vary by browser and assistive technology. Report any barrier rather than assuming it is already known.

Report a barrier

Tell us what did not work

Email bdrapeau@gxpframe.com or call (973) 975-7375. Include the page or activity, the barrier, device/browser and assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing them, and the format or adjustment that would help. We aim to acknowledge reports within five business days and provide a workaround or remediation status as soon as practicable.

Assessment accommodations

Equivalent access, unchanged competency

Requests may cover timing, keyboard or screen-reader compatibility, presentation, communication method or response format. An accommodation changes how a learner demonstrates competency, not the safety-critical or substantive standard. Organization-sponsored learners may also contact their program administrator so approved accommodations are coordinated before an assessment attempt.
